2. Configure Technical Quiet Zones within 24 hours: Remove the employee from on-call escalation policies, decline non-essential calendar invites on their behalf, and reroute repository approvals.

3. Low-Friction Asynchronous Pulse at 72 hours: Send a brief personal note with zero work requests: "Hey! Just checking in on how you're feeling today. Please remember: zero code and zero Slack until our agreed check-in."
